2024 Tarot Series

Inspired by my own spiritual practice of pulling tarot cards to initiate reflective journaling, I felt a strong creative pull towards using the cards to express my own experiences of finding my self-confidence and honoring the strength of women. The first card I chose to represent is "The Empress". To me, this card embodies the energy of the "mother", nature, spiritual growth and the ability to harness the power resonating from the pineal gland or "third eye"- woman's intuition. Tapping into this iconography brought me to question my connection to the female energy around me, honoring that we are all connected by being born from a woman's womb, and that we live complex lives where we have to divide ourselves into many different pieces to accommodate the many roles we have.
